The first service was held in 1917 in the Methodist Church in Manawa, WI.
In 1918 the first church was built.
In 1925, the Luther League was organized with 15 members.
In 1936 the secretary’s minutes were written in English for the first time. Prior to that the minutes were in German.
In 1937 the congregation gave permission to organize a Ladies Aid. Twelve ladies became members.
In 1939 it was voted by the congregation to have more English services than German Services (before that it was on a 50/50 basis).
In 1939 a pipe organ was purchased by the Ladies Aid and Luther League.
In 1939, the Lutheran Brotherhood was organized with 14 members.
In 1942, we celebrated our 25th Anniversary.
In 1946, Zion goes on record as being self-supporting. German Seal is dropped and the new English Seal is adopted.
In 1946, the first Vacation Bible School was held with an enrollment of 56 students. The Usher Club was organized with 12 men and 1 chairman. The Cradle Roll was also organized.
In 1947 - New Parsonage and garage was built.
In 1953, the congregation observed its 35th anniversary.
In 1958, an official ballot voted at a special meeting to build a new church.
In 1960, the new church cornerstone was laid.
In 1968, a 50th Anniversary program and dinner was served in the church basement.
In 1970, the ALCW, American Lutheran Church Women became active.
In 1974, Mortgage burning.
In 1975 the church parking lot was paved. Also, the dedication of the Bell Tower. The tower was built in the shape of a cross.

In 1987 Zion becomes a member of the ELCA.
In 1989, a new Allen organ was purchased.
In 1992, we held a Dedication of the Stained Glass Windows.
In 1993, the 75th Anniversary was celebrated.
In 1998, the 80th Anniversary was celebrated.
In 2003, the Memorial Brick Wall installed.
In 2006, Congregation voted to yoke with First Lutheran Church, Ogdensburg, WI.
In 2009 the Congregation voted to terminate our relationship with the ELCA.
In 2010, the Congregation voted to join the LCMC and voted to break our yoke with First Lutheran Church, Ogdensburg.
In 2017, the Congregation celebrated its 100th Anniversary.
